The county growth strategy currently focuses on recruiting volunteers, as without new volunteers we cannot increase the number of places available to girls across Leeds.
However, we do think it’s important we support and encourage girls to stay within Guiding – and these young members are potentially the Leaders of the future!
Top Transitions
We have designed four postcards which can be used to help encourage girls to move on to the next section when they are old enough. Each postcard has space on the back for you (or the young member) to enter the information for the unit they can go to.
The postcards are for:
- Brownies – to give to Rainbows.
- Guides – to give to Brownies.
- Rangers – to give to Guides.
- Adult volunteer – to give to Rangers and young leaders who are turning 18.
You can download the postcards and have them printed, or collect them for FREE from the county office at the Trefoil Centre.
